Christians hold the promise of God for their bodies to be glorified in the end. Glorification is a state where no decay or any other impact brought by sin may ever affect a Christian ever again. The scripture describes a physical transformation where God “Who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body (Philip 3:21)”.
Glorification is a Christian’s final destination. It is not so much about attaining a perfect condition, but it’s more so about becoming worthy and presentable enough to encounter our Lord and Savior face to face. Glorification is the home and the state that all Christians longs for. Just as Jesus was resurrected and glorified, Christians will be glorified as well. The scripture affirms that, “…we know when Christ appears; we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is (1 Jn 3:2)”.
“And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified” –Romans 8:30
